Le Cronache in four languages, Storie Rossonere from the magazine archive, and the research behind every corrected fact.

Zero wages

Every hour is volunteered by supporters who watch the games between midnight and 6am Adelaide time. Your gift goes to servers, sources and software, not to people.

The fine print, in plain words

  • Your gift goes to Milan Club Adelaide (ABN 35 774 195 126), the official AIMC supporters club of South Australia, and is used to run and grow this website.
  • The club is not a registered charity or a deductible gift recipient. Gifts are not tax-deductible in Australia or anywhere else, and Stripe's receipt is a record of payment, not a tax receipt.
  • Nothing is sold or supplied in return, and no perks or memberships are attached, which is what keeps your payment a gift. Membership is a separate thing: see the Membership page.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe in Australian dollars. Cards issued anywhere in the world are accepted; your bank handles any conversion and may add its own fee.
  • Made a mistake, or a card was used without permission? Email enquiries@milanclubadelaide.com.au within 14 days and we will refund it.
  • We keep your name, email and message only to thank you and keep the club's books. The Privacy page explains how we handle personal information.

Questions people ask

Is the club a charity?
No. It is a supporters club registered with the Associazione Italiana Milan Club. That is why gifts are not tax-deductible.
Can I give from outside Australia?
Yes. Stripe accepts cards from almost every country and the amount is charged in Australian dollars. If checkout shows your own currency, that is an estimate; the final conversion is your bank's.
Will I get a receipt?
If you enter an email, Stripe sends a payment receipt and the club sends a thank-you. Neither is a tax receipt.
Can I give regularly?
Not yet. Every gift is a one-off and nothing renews automatically. Come back whenever you like.
Where does the money actually go?
Hosting, the database, the news aggregator's feeds, research sources, the domain and email. No one is paid. The committee sees every gift in Stripe and records it in the club's books.
